Editing taught me structure. Running a channel taught me why it matters.
I started where most editors start — inside someone else's footage, on someone else's brief. Short-form is unforgiving in a useful way: you find out within a day whether the decision you made was right, and the feedback isn't an opinion, it's a retention curve.
Then I took CapMint Investing at 100 subscribers and stopped being only the editor. Choosing the topic, writing the hook, cutting it, titling it, publishing it and reading the analytics afterwards is a different job — and doing all of it is what took the channel to 7,576 subscribers and 1.68 million views. I still edit for other channels, CapMint Daily among them, and I'm building toward longer formats next.
